Buses - Public Transportation
Make sure to bring small denomination Costa Rica colones, coins, and bills. The bus’s destination is displayed in front of it. It’s a little difficult to find the bus stops, so you’ll have to ask around. Because it is so popular, the routes are consistent, and you rarely have to wait more than 15 minutes for one.

This service is widely used for interprovincial travel. Typically, a ticket is required rather than a cash payment. You will find out once you arrive at the terminal. This is another case where you’ll need to do some preliminary research or ask around to find the terminal’s location.
